Time for a catchup

May 31, 2008

As I’ve been such a busy bee as of late :)

Actually, since we got back from holiday, I don’t feel like I’ve stopped.

< .insert three hour pause>

Um… and in that time I’ve forgotten everything I was going to blog. Maybe a few bullet points would be in order.

* holiday in Portugal
* editing 100 page cookbook as a charity fundraiser for preschool
* garden, allotment
* laundry mountain created by aforementioned holiday and numerous children
* a little decluttering
* my birthday
* half term
* piano practise (grade one exam in a week or so)
* knitting
* learning html
* building EcoKnits

It’s the last one that seems to be swallowing most of my time. I find myself tweaking pages and layouts and adjusting things minutely. What I should have done is make up my first page exactly how I wanted it then used it as a template for the others. But no, I had to do things the hard way.

I do now have a template, so at least the next few pages will be less tweaksome, but I’m sure I’ll find something to mess around with. One plus point is that I’ve found a nice simple shopping cart that isn’t OSbloodyCommerce, but gives me slightly more flexibility than PP buttons.

All I need to do now is find the code that lets me put in drop down boxes next to my Add to Cart buttons. :)
