I’ve got new girls
Just thought I’d post a little picture of my new acquisitions. A friend is having to give up her chooks, due to a variety of reasons beyond her control, and in amongst her regular brown laying chooks, she had these:
They’re Marans, and they lay dark dark brown eggs. That is, they will if my original three girls stop being horrid to them. They are so pretty, and a little smaller than the brown layers.
