Caesarean
Am reading up on sections, as I’m having a dither over an elective.
And before anyone starts yelling at me, there’s a whole heap of reasons why I would consider doing such a thing, especially after my last two vaginal deliveries were 4 hours and 2 hours respectively. I haven’t got enough bandwidth to go into the side effects, complications and other things I’m suffering right now. Let’s just say they’re bad enough to make me consider asking for a section when I go in for the sizing/weight scan at 38 weeks. And this is after talking through home births with my midwife at 18 weeks.
Mainly though, I just want people’s thoughts on the mechanics of it, not the psychological effects.
